Dear visitor,

If you're reading this, you most probably have a keen interest in World War 2 planes. So do I. This site is the result of my passion for the technical leaps that were made between 1939 and 1945, as the engineers from the countries at war entered in a fierce competition to create heavier, faster and more agile military aircraft. World War 2 aircraft, especially those using jet engines, were quite different from the ones that had been flown before. Even by today's general aviation standards, these airplanes' performances are impressing.
